Why doesn MusicFrEaKCentral.com rate the quality of its Tapes?
MusicFrEaKCentral.com does not rate the quality of our Tapes because as we mentioned before, sound quality is a relative thing. We feel that the practice of rating Tapes can be very misleading, and we do not want to deceive our customers. Psychology has proven that people with similar abilities and intellect can have very different audio perceptions of the same sounds. What may sound crystal clear to one person may sound only average to another! This is a fact. For the record, most Music FrEaKs world-wide do not rate their Tapes. Again as stated before, if we feel the quality of a particular tape is slightly short of our average standards, we put a notation saying “(Quality Fair)” in its description. Please note that despite this, the tape will always be audible enough to be entertaining, otherwise it wouldn’t be listed on our site!
