Why doesn’t MRI include an amino acid profile on the Pro-NOS label?

0

With any protein product, amino acid profiles can change from batch to batch. Most labels that do add the amino acid breakdown, use the term “Typical Amino Acid Profile”, meaning that it is not saying that is what is in the product but what could be expected as a rough average. To put the actual amino acid profile on the label would require MRI to test each batch of Pro-NOS and change each label, one at a time. Obviously, such a procedure would be quite expensive and would raise the cost of the product substantially. The amino acid profile, (unless additional amino acids are added) is roughly the same for like proteins (WPC80, WPI, Casein, etc.) These profiles can easily be found on the web.
