Why doesn Kofi KIngston talk in a Jamaican accent anymore?
before signing with WWE Kofi worked some indies in Jamaica… when they hired him they presented him as a Jamaican Native when they saw how F’n awesome he was and decided to increase his push as a mid-card and eventual Upper Card Champion they realized he’d need to cut stronger promos they started announcing him as from Ghana, West Africa (his real Nation of Origin) after a few weeks of this he dropped the accent, and at one point spoke ‘accent free’ in front of DX (this was during the lead up to Bragging Rights) and HHH called him on having lost his accent…
