Why doesn Ixquick remember the preferences I saved in My Settings?
Ixquick “remembers” your settings from session to session by reading the settings cookie stored by your browser. (For more on this, see “Why does Ixquick use cookies?” above.) If Ixquick does not remember your preferences, it either means your browser is not storing the Ixquick settings cookie or that the cookie is being deleted by your browser or some other program. If the cookie is not being stored, you can change your browser settings to allow it to store the Ixquick preference cookie. If your browser is set to delete all cookies each time you close the program, you can make an exception for the Ixquick preference cookie by inserting “ixquick.com” (without the www). You can find out more by searching for “cookies” in your browser’s Help feature, or by selecting your browser from the list below.
