Why doesn Initialize fix an erroneous file?
Files get the erroneous state because of a problem (i.e. disk space), and so this problem should be fixed before using this feature. If not, the file will be set to erroneous again. It could happen that even after the problem is solved the Initialize feature doesn’t work. You will have to restart client in this cases.
