Why doesn gran turismo 4 work on my slimline PS2.?
There are two potential causes of this problem. The first, and easiest to remedy, is that the game disc itself is bad. If you purchased the game new, it’s possible that the disc is simply corrupt. This isn’t common, but it can happen. It may mean that you need to purchase another copy of GT4. If you purchased the disc used, it could also be scratched (or could have become scratched in the time you’ve owned it). Look at the back of the disc. If there are scratches (even minor ones), this could be the root of the problem. You can take it to a local retailer who offers disc repair and have the scratches removed. I would recommend finding a local store through either Play N Trade (www.playntrade.com) or Game Crazy (www.gamecrazy.com). Most of these stores provide disc repair for less than $5 a disc.
