Why doesn GPSDiag work with my Garmin, Magellan or other hand-held GPS receiver?

0

GPSDiag only supports NMEA data at 4800BPS which is the standard communications protocol across all GPS receivers. Most hand-held GPS receivers such as the Garmin default to their own proprietory binary protocol. To work with GPSDiag you’ll need to check the documentation for your model to find out how to enable NMEA communications at 4800BPS.
