Why doesn Atlantic Records just re-release the YKTR album?
Tori doesn’t want them to. Tori has said that while she doesn’t necessarily hate the songs on the YKTR album, she doesn’t feel that they represent what she is doing musically now. As well, they remind her of a period in her life that she doesn’t really want to remember, primarily her struggling years in California, and the sexual assault incident that led her to writing the song titled “Me And A Gun”. Atlantic Records is smart enough to know that, at least while they still have Tori under contract, re-releasing the YKTR album would be a foolish move.
