Why doesn an Affirm module read ?
First, the Affirm modules must be properly oriented within the reader box. This is the proper orientation of Affirm module in Reader box. Note the Affirm module strap is oriented in the same direction as the cord exiting the reader box. The clear blue side of the Afirm module is located downward. Please note the Green and Red lights on the reader box. The green light illuminates when the computer is sending a signal looking for and Affirm module. The red light illuminates when the Affirm module is sending it’s data back to the computer. These light illuminate only when the PC Compliance Science software is running and the “read” option is selected. After each activation of the “read” button, the pc software will send a signal looking for the Affirm module If the green light illuminates periodically, the software and hardware are working propery.
