why doesn amazon.ca sell electronics?
People answering here are not working at Amazon, so it’s quite unlikely that you will get a definitive answer, but here are a couple of reasons why they don’t: – You need to have an infrastructure for the returning of defect devices. So you need people and storage-space. All that costs money and if the sales of the already offered things are not too high, the additional investments might not look lucrative. – The population-density in Canada is different from other countries where Amazon is already selling electronics like the USA, Japan or Germany. – Other reasons might be taxes or legal stuff that I don’t know (living too many thousands kilometers away for that).
