Why doesn all of UVics Web site look like this?

All UVic Web sites contain over 100,000 pages, maintained by several hundred people in over a hundred departments and units. The top level of UVic.ca consists of the main pages that help visitors find their way around the many UVic Web sites. At this point the new look will apply mainly to those pages. Over the coming year, we will help some units to adopt (parts of) the new look, whereas others will choose to retain a unique identity. We expect that gradually more units will adapt the new design.
