As of update 1.79, Xfire runs two processes, one elevated (admin) and one non-elevated (user). The elevated process only starts if you have games installed that we have specified to run elevated. If you one of these games installed, you will receive a message letting you know that this second process is running. The second process is just for communication purposes, and therefore only takes about 4MB of memory, and should have no to little CPU effect on your system.
