Why does Wyndgate Health use a “case management” approach in its practice?
A. Case management is another key aspect of the Wyndgate Health operating plan. We have a registered nurse managing the routine follow up and communication with our clients. Our clients tell us that they appreciate the personalized care and report better outcomes using this approach. Q. I’m a little uncomfortable not being seen by an MD. Tell me why Wyndgate Health does not do so. A. Typically, medical doctors, physician’s assistants and nurse practitioners are not trained in the orthomolecular and functional medicine techniques. Physicians seeking this training commonly obtain it at specialized professional organizations and seminars. As a matter of fact, our case management nurse has trained four medical doctors, four nurse practitioners and one physician assistant in these therapies.
