This is an issue that has been fixed. If you upgrade to the newest version you should see the CPU usage drop straight away. Furthermore you will find a feature to reduce CPU usage even more. All you need to do is not to show seconds on your clocks and you will have a near 0% CPU usage (change this in the Clock Designer). Upgrade will only take a minute or two. All upgrades within version 2.x are free of charge to registered users.
