Why does Win95 ask for drivers even after I install the SCSI card driver?

0

A4: Win95 will does not know certain types of SCSI devices. Win95 knows about harddisks, removable disks, CD-ROMs, and CD-Recorders (type 5). Win95 does not know about tape drives, scanners, or WORM drives. The devices that Win95 does know about are typically placed in Device Manager under Other. Some tape software and scanner software will create a new entry in Device Manager for the Tape Drive or scanner respectively. Arcadia, HP Deskscan 2.4 and Microtek scanner will create these entries.
