Why does Wesleyan combine Reunion Weekend and Commencement?
Bringing together all members of the Wesleyan community (the senior class, parents, alumni, faculty members and administrators) provides a unique opportunity for learning, for renewing old friendships and for meeting new people. Wesleyan combined Reunion and Commencement for the first time in May 2000, and according to feedback from students, alumni, and their families, it has been a resounding success each year.

Over the past three years, we have experienced synergy in the successful combination of Homecoming and Family Weekend. Wesleyan combined Reunion and Commencement for the first time in May 2000, and according to feedback from students, alumni, and their families, it has been a resounding success each year.
