Why does WebCT redirect me to another page when I try to log in?
If you are entering WebCT from the My Courses tab in My NWACC Connection, and it is giving you another log in screen when you click on the class link, this is a technical issue and you should call WebCT tech support at 479-619-4299 or 4382, or contact dl@nwacc.edu. If this is not the case, if you are being redirected to another page when trying to log into WebCT, you probably have spyware or adware on your computer. Spyware is a type of software that sends information from your computer to other sources, from the websites your browse to potentially information you type on the keyboard, such as passwords and credit card numbers. For this reason, spyware jeopardizes the security of your machine. Adware is a type of software that opens pop-up ads on your computer when you browse or tries to get you to go to different sites.
