WHY does water leaks from under dash 2001 vw beetle?
Does is smell like antifreeze? If so then your heater core is bad and needs to be replaced. If it just water then it could possibly be the drainage hose for your intake vents is clogged with debree and drains into the vehicle instead of under it like it is supposed to. I have no idea where it is on this vehicle. Usually it is just a rubber hose or tube that is under neathnear the vents near the windshield area but along the firewall (usually). I hope this helps.
