Why does Verizon pre-pay phone charge a .99 cent daily fee?
The only way to avoid this fee in a prepaid is to go to a system that doesn’t charge the daily fee. For example, Tracfone, which my youngest son uses, is prepaid, and we probably pay somewhere around 130 a year for him – he doesn’t use it much, but he can always call without incuring more cost as long as he is active and has minutes. We buy a yearly card and if he needs them, we buy more minutes. http://www.tracfone.com/index.jsp They have some decent deals right now – one year card for 99 with 400 minutes and you can get a Motorola W370 with that for like 25 buck.
