Brandon Quinn was allergic to the glue used as part of the first wolf-like makeup (used for the pilot, Fangs For The Memories, and The Exor-Sis). A different look (and one I prefer) was used for the rest of the season, and that look was improved upon and made more consistent in following seasons.
