Why does Thomas Watt Jewellers & Bullion Dealers only provide a quotation over the telephone to customers?
A. We would not offer our customers a quotation price prior to receiving your gold. There are several factors that can together influence our price offered. Over the telephone we are unable to independently verify the condition, weight, hallmark and condition of your gold. The gold price fluctuates on a daily basis and therefore to provide a quotation over the telephone in advance of receiving your gold would mean there would be differences between the price quoted and the acutal payment received. Thomas Watt Jewellers & Bullion Dealers wish to prevent this occurrence.
