Why does this survey focus on only women, visible minorities, persons with disabilities and Aboriginal peoples?
• York University participates in the FCP under the Employment Equity Act and is required to monitor its representation with respect to four employment equity designated groups defined by the Employment Equity Act: women, visible minorities, persons with disabilities and Aboriginal peoples. Monitoring diverse groups outside of these four designated groups falls outside of the scope of the FCP and is not included in this survey.
