This question was answered on January 27, 2004. Much of the information contained herein may have changed since posting. Even though Windows XP requires only 64 MB to install, it will not perform the way you expect it to unless you have at least 1.5 GB free space on the volume that holds XP. The suggestion is that if you only 64 MB of RAM, increase to 128 MB or better.
