Why does the Wichita Falls Health Department inspect in Archer and Clay counties?
As a Health District our boundaries are not limited to the city limits; Lakes Arrowhead and Kickapoo are the city’s main source of water, as such we have a vested interest in keeping our water clean. The Wichita, Clay and Archer County Commissioners have designated the Health District to manage their on-site programs.
