(1) Intensive flow energy dissipation in the pool at the bottom of the structure provides a natural self-cleaning action. Heavy solids can’t settle because of the turbulence in the pool, and are carried away with the effluent flow. (2) There is no need to rehabilitate the structure after installation of the Vortex Insert Assembly. Corrosive substances are neutralized, and there is inherently no abrasion.
