Why does the village prohibit overnight parking?
Parking on Village streets is prohibited between the hours of 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. Violators will be given citations. The Village prohibits overnight parking to ensure accessibility to snowplows, street sweepers and waste collection trucks. In the event of unusual circumstances such as the resurfacing of a driveway or other conditions, making overnight parking on the street necessary, residents are advised to contact Communications at the Addison Police Department at 630-543-3080 to request special parking permission. Residents will be required to provide the vehicle description (make, model and color), along with the license plate number and state, if not Illinois.
