Why does the Velocity ship with control lines already set and bartacked in place?
The Velocity is a canopy that is extremely sensitive to trim changes and somewhat sensitive to toggle positioning as it relates to front risering. We, as the manufacturer, want to give you the best possible experience with the canopy and feel that by setting these lines, it encourages the lines to stay set where we know you will get maximum positive input. The lines are bartacked because the Vectran line used on the Velocity is much more likely to fray and get fuzzy if any excess line is left free.
