Why does the valve piston not lock into place?
• The abs valve guide may be pushed out of position with the detent in the valve casing or the guide has been worn down due to friction. • To check and adjust, remove the valve piston. The valve guide is a white abs tab that is located in the valve piston. This can be pushed forward or back so that it can mate with the detent in the valve casing. It also moves up and down with the valve piston spring. • If valve guide is beyond adjustment it may be replaced. Contact your local repair shop or place of purchase to order part.
