Why does the University of Ottawa have an employment equity policy?
The University of Ottawa is committed to fairness in employment opportunities. As part of this commitment the University has initiated an Employment Equity program following guidelines established by the Government of Canada’s Federal Contractors Program, which requires the University of Ottawa to follow specific procedures to achieve employment equity.
