Why does the United States, or US citizens demand the capital be moved?
Jerusalem is a world class, of world importance city in the great religions of the world and world history. Part of the drive to make it the Israeli capital is the hardliners desire to dominate and push the non Jewish residents out into the desert. Part of the same desire is the hard core fundy Christians want to see it controlled by the Israelis as the capital is to applaud that move and turn the place into a Disneyland for fundy Christians, a tourist Mecca without Muslims, without those pesky “other people” In other words, racist and sectarian reasons. What an awful position for BHO, to have to go and genuflect at the feet of the dominant lobbying group for Israel/Jewish/Zionist/expansionist elements in the US. Bitter fruits might yet still be avoided from this, but not soon. The rest of the civilized world wants to see sharing and caring.
