Why does the UK have the highest violent crime rate in the developed world?
many reasons why other countries have a higher crime rate than the US. I will list a few: 1) they focus too much on alleged US social ills and don’t deal with their own 2) they are not permited to use self defense, even mild forms in the UK will get you in prison 3) they have a “clockwork orange” penal system which places the blame for violent offenders on society at large, and thus coddles the criminal Also, Hollywood images of a violent US go much farther than reality. Even the wild west wasn’t really all that violent or wild…only Hollywood made it out to look that way and that’s the image with believe.
