Why does the tilt of the Earths axis cause different day length?
The amount of sunlight that reaches the Earth is spread unevenly due to the tilt and therefore the hemisphere tilted towards the sun would have a loner day than the other hemisphere. This changes depending on the position from the equator and also changes as the position of the Earth changes during the year.
