Why does the the web service time out before it returns any data?
Some SOAP packages set very low timeout values, which means that longer data requests won’t complete before the timeout has passed. Depending on the SOAP product you use, you can normally set the service object to allow a longer timeout value. Please see the platform specific FAQ’s or specific client libraries for ways to increase the timeout for your application.
