Why does the tap water change color?

Obviously an element has entered into the water to change the color. That element could have been converted from the metal rings; the water (chemicals like chlorine, or bacterial contaminants, or metal, etc.); or from human contact. How can I determine, from the color of the water, how much of the color is due to toxins coming out vs. how much is due to the natural minerals and/or contaminants such as chlorine in the water that is breaking down due to the ionization of the water? Water sources may be different, every ionizer unit is at a different level of efficiency due to the wear of the rings, and every person is different. With that in mind, try the following: 1. Run the unit in 1 liter of water for 30 minutes with no feet in it. 2. Run the unit in 1 liter of water for 30 minutes with feet in it. Of Primary Importance: Drink the water.
