Why does the Summer 2009 curriculum comprise only History and Economics courses ?
This is a largely accidental outcome. What we can offer is dependent, at least to a certain extent, on (a) estimates of what is likely to prove attractive for Harvard undergraduates; (b) the availability of Harvard faculty; and (c) the availability of Sabanci faculty willing to offer summer courses. The current spectrum happens to be a specific, temporary, contingent outcome. We are targeting a broader range of courses in the future.
