Why does the state of Maryland Have the right to almost double the cost of fishing license?
Under an agreement in the Bill of Rights, individual States have the right to run their state the way they see fit, but if enough pressure were to be exercised by the people of the state come next election, the increases of fees (as outlandish, unreasonable, & outrageous as they are) could be rescinded by a vote on a measure to reduce the cost of the item at question. And while they say that you can’t fight city hall, that is only true to a point, because those who we elect to the positions endowed by the laws of this land, can & have been replaced @ the next election. Sure hope you study politics on your way to adulthood, because the Good Lord knows we need more people like you, who stand aghast at the liberties that our elected lawmakers take, as they vote themselves higher & higher wages, and yet we’re the bums paying the piper.
