A. The startup URL might time out for a DMP that is connected to a switch port for which spanning tree protocol (STP) is enabled. Spanning tree negotiations take approximately 40 seconds to complete and might exceed the timeout value for the startup URL. If this problem affects you, enable the spanning tree PortFast feature on the relevant switch port, then restart the DMP.
