Why does the software subscription/ technical support contracts show up as generic in my User Center Account?

When you purchase a contract from a Check Point reseller, the documentation is sent from the reseller to the distributor and then to Check Point. If your contract is showing generic, the documentation may have not reached Check Point for data entry. This process usually takes 12 to 15 days to complete. If your contracts are still listed as generic after 20 days, contact your reseller and have them follow up with the distributor to insure there are no issues with the documentation at the distributor level.
