Why does The Society of Green Business certify homes?
There are two reasons we certify homes. The first is that we do not wish to discriminate against home based businesses. Just because your business is based at home does not mean that you can not operate green. The Green Eco Seal and all that goes with it is just as desirable for a home based business as a traditional business. The second reason is that we have heard the desires of the public to have their home certified. Be it for reasons of re-sale or that simply the homeowners want to contribute and do their part for a sustainable future.
