Why does the SmartBoard have slightly larger keys for the keys typed by the outside fingers?
The slightly larger keys make it easier to type. When you type on a standard keyboard, it can be hard to type the outside keys like Q,W,O, and P. This is because (1) you don’t type those letters as much, and (2) the outside fingers that type the outside keys are less-coordinated than your inside fingers. The SmartBoard solves those problems by making the outside keys slightly larger than usual.
