Why does the site state “selected issues” for in-game items, rather than “every issue”?
When we launched, subscriptions were taken for issues 1-12, and we have in-game items agreed with NCsoft for every issue 1-12, so the site reflected this. After issue 1 was published, new subscribers would subscribe for issue 2-13, 3-14, etc. As we have yet to finalise whether issues 13-24 will include an in-game item with every issue, or just with selected issues, we updated the site to say “selected issues”. To be clear, as was always planned and stated, issues 1-12 will include an in-game item with every issue, unless in some extreme and unforseen circumstances we are technically unable to include one (which is why the Terms and Conditions, as is usual, include the right to change the specifications). Subscriptions that run beyond issue 12, and renewals for 13-24, will possibly have items only on selected issues, though it may still turn out to be every issue – we just updated the site on the off-chance that it won’t be every issue.
