Why does the Silk Mist Moisturizing Body Spray have a distinctive scent?
It contains pure vanilla, which, like any cosmetic ingredient, has its own scent. Real vanilla was not added to this product as a fragrance, but for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Of course, because natural vanilla has a distinctive and appealing aroma, a nice side effect is that it can help make the other ingredients smell better.
