Why does the security symbol (lock) disappear from my Internet Explorer browser?

0

The fact that the padlock symbol does not display is a known problem with certain versions of Microsofts Internet Explorer browser and is currently being addressed by Microsoft. The padlock symbol that appears at the bottom of the login page of Internet Account Access confirms that page is in a secured environment. Once you login to Internet Account Access using certain versions of Internet Explorer, the padlock is no longer visible, even though the sessions are full secured. Newer versions of the Internet Explorer browser should fix this Microsoft issue. Also, you may need to check your security settings in the Internet Control Panel of your computer. If you see the https:// in the web address, you are in a secure session. Alternatively, the Netscape browser does not display this behavior. To ensure the highest level of security available, load the latest version of your web browser.
