Why does the security deposit increase if my cable service has been disconnected three times?
Subscribers that are disconnected for non-payment more than three times pose a higher risk of leaving an unpaid balance on their account if they choose not to renew their service. Currently, the average balance left owing on the account of a disconnected subscriber is over $60 even after the security deposit is applied to their account.
