Why does the school need additional funds and doesnt LSU support the Lab School?
It is important to know that although the Lab School is a part of LSU, we do not receive any direct funding from LSU. The Lab Schools resources are based on tuition and funds from the states Minimum Foundation Plan (MFP). These resources alone are not enough to maintain the high caliber programs academic and extracurricular all of you rightly expect from the University Laboratory School. Your gift to the Lab School will stay at the Lab School for the direct benefit of our programs and students.
