Why does the Roman Catholic Bible have 13 more books than the Protestant Bible?
You are referring to the Apocrypha between the Old and the New Testaments. Protestants acknowledge only the books that Jesus Christ acknowledged. They see no evidence that Jesus Christ acknowledged the Apocrypha. Furthermore, the 66 books present a perfect unity without contradiction, whereas the Apocrypha introduce teachings contrary to the rest of Scripture such as purgatory.
