Why does the render wait a long time to start a render or never begin at all?
There is a small delay as copies of the project file are made and loaded into the Nucleo Pro processes which would explain a short delay in the render starting. A project that takes a long time to open may delay this more than a small project. If there are any problems with the project or After Effects when the file is opened the render may be delayed or frozen. Examples include trial or unlicensed plug-ins that require you to click on a message as the file is first opened. Since the Nucleo Pro processes aren’t visible on the screen you aren’t able to see or click on the same messages when Nucleo Pro’s render is started. Footage items that require you to provide access to use them (such as some asset management systems) can also prevent the project from fully opening.
