Why does the % remaining drop when I unplug my iPAQ?

The measured voltage of the battery is influenced by charging. When charging, you’re pushing electrons in and that pushes up the voltage. When you unplug, there is an immediate drop. We try to compensate for that in the calibration curve, but it’s just an offset.
