Why does the regulator on a propane grill sometimes hum ?
A. With the introduction of the low-flow mode regulators became more sensitive to pressures. When this occurs, it will sometimes stop after a few minutes. Adjusting the position of the regulator by turning it onto it’s side or up righting it can also alleviate the humming. When all else fails, turn off the tank supply valve and disconnect the regulator hose, then re-attach it. The change in back pressure will normally allow the regulator to re-seal itself. Q.
