Why does the Red Cross accept only financial donations?
Providing disaster victims with the financial assistance to begin recovering from a disaster has proven to be the most immediate, effective and efficient means for delivering disaster assistance. It provides a quick infusion of money into a local economy that most likely has been affected by the disaster as well.
